Youth Safety Class
This class is beyond the basic hunter education safety, and the NRA Eddie Eagle Program.
We would like parents to attend this class with their children.
Topics we go over:
Safe home storage of firearms and ammunition
Various storage options
What a child should do if they come across a firearm
How to safely handle a firearm
Iowa laws regarding minors and firearms
There is no shooting in this class by participants but rather demonstrations by instructors.
Ear and eye protection are required and will be provided if you do not have any.
Cost is $25 for parent and one child each additional child/parent $10
$40 for a family of 4.

This course is geared for children 12 years and older. If you have younger children than 12 we can provide the NRA Eddie Eagle course for their age group.
